Britelight 4k

Spectacular effects have been achieved using the Xenotech Automated Britelight 4000 for touring shows and concerts. This automated searchlight is our intermediate power level five-function computer-controlled robotic searchlight system. The system functions are pan, tilt, focus, douse, and color. Sub control functions of pan, tilt fine position, pan, tilt, douser, and color change speed, system reset, and color / douser reset are also controllable. The system communication protocol  is formatted to the USITT DMX-512 standard and the system can be controlled by any controller configured for moving operation supplying a DMX-512 signal. The lamp head optical system utilizes a unique 4000 watt short-arc xenon lamp and a high efficiency short focal length electroformed parabolic reflector to produce an intense beam of collimated, daylight-balanced light. The optical system also employs the extensive use of heat absorbing and reflecting thin film dielectric coatings in the optical path to control the infrared energy output (heat) of the beam and extend the life of the colored gel scroll.

The lamp head cooling system utilizes a high-volume, low-velocity blower, extensive sound absorbing, vibration dampening, and baffling to attain the lowest sound of any comparable system. This level of cooling allows this lamp head to be used in the most demanding temperatures without fear of failure.

The system control electronics are completely modular and can be serviced or replaced in a matter of seconds simply by pulling out the module in question and sliding in a replacement. The system modules are configured by function as follows: control power supply, CPU, pan motor drive, tilt motor drive, and scroller/douser CPU. The Britelight 4000 automated system can be configured for use with the Britelight 4000 portable electronic ballast for transportable applications, our 4000 watt linear ballast packaged in a weather proof NEMA 3R enclosure for permanent outdoor installations, or with our state-of-the-art built-in intelligent xenon ballast (IXPS) for special applications where a separate ballast is not practical or desirable.

The overall system has been designed for use in touring shows, amusement parks, permanent outdoor and indoor architectural applications, and any application requiring reprogrammable repeatable high-intensity searchlight effects. The system may be optionally supplied safety list "suitable for wet locations" by ETL.
