The xenon searchlight industry was initially developed for applications within the U.S. Department of Defense. Xenon light sources were primarily used in military applications the applications ranged from anti aircraft illumination to battlefield and seafaring illumination. Since the 1960’s NASA has used xenon lighting technology for launch and landing pad illumination. Xenon light sources are also utilized by other aerospace industries as solar simulated light sources in replicating space environment.

Xenon light sources are the predominant light source used in the cinema projection industry. The xenon light fixtures have become a desirable light source used in film, television and live entertainment events.

Description of Arc Light Efx, Inc and Pacific Gel

On August 1, 2002 the current management assumed control of the existing Pacific Gel and Xenotech rentals corporation’s business from Strong Entertainment Lighting (a division of Ballantyne of Omaha). Richard Hart founded Xenotech Inc. in 1986. This business has been providing sales, service, rentals consulting and installations of high intensity lighting equipment throughout the world but primarily in the United States. We continue to operate this business and improve it as a Private Corporation expanding the product lines and service support. We have continued to expand the existing customer base by offering a greater variety of specialty lighting equipment and service to:
