The Switching Xenon Power Supply from Strong Entertainment Lighting is a lightweight, solid-state unit and features the latest in xenon power technology. This second generation Switching Supply replaces the original versions of the Switcher and is now available.
The new Switcher design includes many operational improvements and features in an even smaller and lighter package. Reliability is improved significantly due to modular design and construction. Two quiet DC Powered fans maintain safe operating temperatures. LED Indicators monitor power supply operation and aid in troubleshooting problems (high temperature, open fuse, over- or under-voltage, etc.). The Switcher boasts nearly 90% Power Efficiency, low inrush current on lamp ignition (not exceeding 180%) and virtually no AC Ripple (not exceeding 3% peak-to-peak) throughout its continuously variable operating range. The Switcher is "current regulated", providing constant output current to the xenon lamp despite variations in incoming line voltage.The unit is rated for:Model 62-8011,000 to 3,000 watt (1/3kw), 220 (200-240) VAC, Single OR Three Phase, 50/60HZ. The unit weighs only 42 pounds (19.1 kg) Net and
measures 19 x 11 x 8 inches (48 x 28 x 20 cm).
